The white ladies cemetery where her body is now housed is called Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel Cemetery. The original cemetery she was
buried in was Union Cemetery which is a town away. She wears a white nightgown with a bonnet. In 1993, a local fireman "ran over" the ghost in his pickup truck. Sometimes witnesses observe dark, shadowy figures attempting to grab the White Lady. Investigator Ed Warren believes she is Mrs. Knot, whose husband was murdered near Easton in the 1940's. The woman may have been murdered shortly after her husband funeral. |

<~ The picture is a shot of
the cemetery that is she supposed to wander from at night. I have tried to go there at night but it is heavily guarded by police in Newtown because many people have been caught in it at night, and they are afraid of vandalism. |

For many years, visitors in this cemetery reported having conversations with life-like apparitions who walk among the tombstones and them
disappear into thin air. This type of ghost, known as a "lepke", seems as real as any other person until it vanishes from sight. Acquaintances of people buried here say the apparitions talk and behave exactly as they did when alive. |

Another haunting in Union Cemetery is known as "red-eyes." The first sighting of "red-eyes" was from a man that was walking along the road
next to the Union Cemetery. He noticed a pair of red eyes staring at his through the darkness of the cemetery. This of course frightened him, so he turned and ran, and he could hear footsteps following him.
To get to Union Cemetery:
Easton is in southwest Connecticut near junction of Highway 136 and 59. The cemetery is on Highway 59, near the Easton Baptist Church.
